Since 2005, the Consorzio Cacciatore Italiano has operated to promote information, protection and valorisation of Salamini Italiani alla Cacciatora DOP.
It also has supervisory powers to combat fakes, imitations, acts of piracy and falsification throughout Italy and abroad.
