Ingredients for 1 person:

Salame Cacciatore DOP

Wholemeal bread

White-skinned figs (for the jam and garnish)

Sugar

 

For the fig jam, use cleaned and peeled figs and sugar in a ratio of 2:1; boil in a small pan for about 20 minutes.

Cut the bread in half and use a spoon to spread with fig jam.

Slice a medium-sized peeled fig and arrange the slices on the jam, finishing with slices of Salame Cacciatore DOP to taste.

Top the sandwich with the other half of the bread.
